Animation Fundamentals

Hand-drawn animation and stop-motion animation applies fundamental principles and techniques that pertains to all forms of animation, including 3D animation. By learning the basics of timing, spacing, and movement in a 2D or stop-motion context, animators can better understand how to execute these concepts to 3D animation.

By starting with hand-drawn or stop-motion animation, animators can develop their skills and build a strong foundation before moving on to more complex and expensive forms of animation.

Stop motion – Live Action Animation
