We create curricula that meet Industry and Academic Standards. Our courses are designed for middle schools, high schools, area career and technical centers, community and technical colleges, and for our industry partners.

Curriculum Design

Phase 1 – Curriculum Map

We work with the client to create an outline [curriculum map] for each program that identifies the goal for each course.

Phase 2 – Curriculum Creation

Education Media produces media and online instruction that guides users through advanced curricula in a way that is entertaining, educational, and fun. 

Phase 3 – Online Design

We create multi-modal project-based interactive learning that provides step-by-step demonstrations that guide users through complex systems simplifying subject matter for accessibility.

Basic Grip Tools

PREP COURSE FOR IN-PERSON TRADES BOOTCAMP

Upon completion of the course, students will be assessed through practical demonstrations in a workshop setting to ensure a solid grasp of the basic grip tools.

Description

This introductory module provides students with an introduction to basic grip tools and is first in a series of six that scaffolds into advanced rigging and grip techniques.

Learners are guided through the process and intricacies of creating a production resume.

Intro to Film: The Frame

CTE COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT-BASED LEARNING COURSE

In the “flipped classroom model” used for project-based learning, students first gain foundational knowledge outside of class. This preparation enables them to engage more deeply and meaningfully with the instructor during in-class projects.

Description

In preparation for their first camera test, this introductory course provides the ABC’s of aspect ratio and shot size.  This course is part of a year-long academic honors program that satisfies by F and G requirements.

Intro to Production Accounting

Professional Training course w/virtual saturday sessions

This is an excerpt of the first week in a 7-week series of distance-learning courses that prepares learners for entry-level production accounting positions.

Description

This course follows a hybrid learning format that includes online lessons and Virtual Saturday Sessions with an instructor.
